Gary Varley
Owner and President
In 2014, after being in the industry for over 30 years, Gary purchased the assets of Land Construction Inc (formerly Ideus Construction Inc) and officially founded Land Excavating & Demolition, LLC. When he began with the company, he was initially hired as an estimator after receiving his engineering degree from the University of Nebraska. Gary learned the trade from a group of knowledgeable mentors, making numerous friends along the way. Gary's philosophy is always DIRT, which stands for:

Ben Woods
Estimator and Project Manager
Ben began with the company in 2011 and has provided bidding for projects of all types and sizes. In addition to his role as the estimator, he is also the project manager and safety director. He helps coordinate various field activities, including surveying, GPS modeling, and helping with the dispatching of men and equipment.
Chriss Furrer
Accounting and Human Resources
Since joining the team in 2018, Chriss has done a great job handling the accounts receivable and accounts payable. She also handles all human resources responsibilities.
We have a dedicated team of employees, many of whom have been with the company for decades.
